Spicy Mustard Sauce



  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup ground mustard (1.75 oz.)
  • 1 cup Heinz® Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt


  1. Combine sugar and mustard in a saucepan. Mix until ingredients are well blended and no lumps remain. Add remaining ingredients. Cook over medium-low heat for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring constantly with a wire whisk until thickened. Serve warm or chilled on cold cuts, ham, beef, chicken, chicken nuggets, and egg rolls, or as a condiment for sandwiches. Makes 2 cups. Note: For a milder flavor, use 1/4 cup ground mustard.
